Through re-design and permitting, Streamline Development took a 1,400 square foot 1960’s tract home and constructed a 3,300 square foot contemporary island style beach home. Utilizing sustainable design, we were able to incorporate the existing raised foundation with the proposed design, as well as re-purposing all their existing doors and windows to Habitat for Humanity. Striving for an energy efficient home, we were able to use such items as a mini-split heating/air system, energy star rated appliances, cool-roof system, and blown in cellulose to the exterior envelope of the home. In addition, we were able to use the Anderson 100 series for the door and window package made of 100% recycled content. Sustainable design has allowed us to provide the best possible living environment for our clients to enjoy. We successfully accelerated construction just in time for the arrival of our client’s first-born.
